Llactapata — The Best-Kept Secret

Did you know you can sleep with the Machu Picchu ruins visible from your window?

On our 4-day route, the last night isn’t spent in a noisy town. We take you to Llactapata, an archaeological site facing the citadel. There, our private lodge provides the same comfort as the Sky Domes (real beds, hot showers) along with a view that will leave you speechless.

Faqs

In addition to the Sky Domes, our service offers, on the last night in the mountains, the unique opportunity to sleep right in front of Machu Picchu. Where? You will stay in Llactapata, a campsite that places you among the clouds and allows you to be directly facing Machu Picchu.

No, but a reasonable level of fitness is required and, above all, proper acclimatization in Cusco (at least 2 days) before starting.

Our camps are private and exclusively operated by SAM Travel. Each dome is secure and we have round-the-clock security staff.
