DAY 1: CUSCO – EXPLORE THE CITY We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel to get settled. You will receive a short briefing at your hotel to help you prepare for the adventure ahead. In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel at 1pm to begin our visit of the Imperial City. It is a living example of the mix of Andean and Spanish culture. We start the tour at the Convent of Santo Domingo built over the Koricancha, which was the Ancient Inca Palace and the main worship center of the Sun God. You are given plenty of time to enjoy these beautiful sights. From there, we visit the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, with its impressive Inca architecture, which dominates the city. Finally, we explore the archaeological sites of Q’enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay, which are located in the northeast section of the city. Choquequirao Trek to Machu Picchu 9 Days

We recommend this trek for experienced trekkers or persons in good physical shape used to trekking or running frequently.   DAY 1: CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – CHIQUISCA – PLAYA ROSALINAS At 5:00am, we pick you up from your hotel and drive for 4hours in our private van to Capuliyoc (2,850m/9,407ft). Along the way, there are spectacular views of villages, valleys and snow-capped mountains. Once at Cachora, we meet our horsemenn and pack all our equipment onto the horses. Here, we will enjoy the spectacular view of Choquequirao Inca remains, the Apurimac Canyon and the stunning snow-capped mountains like Padreyoc (5,571m/18,387ft). We hike down for the next 3 hours to Chikisca for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue for 2 more hours down to our first camp at la Playa Rosalinas. Meals: Lunch – Afternoon Tea Time –  Dinner Accommodation: Camping facilities Distance: 14kms/9 miles Time: 5hrs approximately Difficulty: Easy DAY 2: PLAYA ROSALINAS – MARANPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO After an early breakfast, we cross the bridge and hike for the next 4 hours all the way up to Marampata, where we will have lunch, while enjoying the view of Choquequirao Inca ruins. After lunch, we walk to our second evening’s campsite, which is just 20 minutes from the ruins.  There are many possibilities to see condors and enjoy the Choquequirao ruins into the late evening. Choquequirao Trek Machu Picchu 7 Days

We recommend this trek for experienced trekkers or persons in good physical shape used to hiking or running frequently.   DAY 1: CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – CHIKISKA – PLAYA ROSALINAS We leave Cusco at 5am in a private van for a 4-hour drive to Capuliyoc, situated on the edge of the Apurimac Canyon and surrounded by impressive snowcapped peaks.  Then, we hike down for 2 hours until we arrive at Chikiska where we have lunch. Afterwards, we continue our hike for 1 more hour to Playa Rosalinas (1,550 m/5,084 ft), where we will spend the night. Meals: Lunch – Afternoon Tea time – Dinner Accommodation: Camping facilities and 4 season roomy tents Distance: 12kms/7.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate DAY 2: PLAYA ROSALINAS – MARANPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO Departing early, we ascend to Santa Rosa and to Maranpata, where we will have lunch. The climb from the river takes about 4 hours and is tough. From our lunch spot, we can see the remains of Choquequirao. Then, we have 2 more hours to hike to reach the Choquequirao Archeological site (3,110 m/10,120 ft). Along the way there are spectacular views of villages, valleys, and snow-capped mountains. Once there we meet our horsemen  and pack all of our equipment onto the horses. From here, we can enjoy the spectacular view of Choquequirao Inca ruins, the Apurimac canyon and the stunning snow-capped mountains like Padreyoc (5,571m/18,387ft). Then we hike down for 3 hours to Chikisca for lunch. After lunch we continue on for 2 more hours downhill to our first camp at la Playa Rosalinas (2061m/6762ft). Meals: Lunch – Afternoon Tea Time –  Dinner. DAY 1: CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – PLAYA ROSALINAS – SANTA ROSA At 4:30 am, we pick you up at your hotel and drive for the next 4 hours in our private van to Capuliyoc (2,850m/9,407ft). Along the way, there are spectacular views of villages, valleys and snow-capped mountains. Once at Capuliyoc we meet our horsemen and pack all of our equipment onto the horses. Then we start walking all the way down to Playa Rosalinas (1,475m/4,840ft) where we have lunch. Along the way enjoy great views of the Apurimac Canyon, and mountain peaks such as Padreyoc (5,571m/18,387ft).  After lunch, we ascend for two hours to our first campsite at Santa Rosa, (1900m/6234ft) where we spend the night. We have lunch here and then we will have a private guided tour for us in the afternoon. During the tour, we will explore all the important sections, such as the palaces, temple, ritual water fountains, amazing Usnu (ceremonial platform), agricultural terraces, llama’s section and much more.
